FPC Men's Ministry

Our Vision

To provide strategic opportunities and service with the purpose of growing together as men, as we grow in Christ.
We accomplish this through:

Fellowship:

Fun gatherings like Rome Braves games, Rome Axe Throwing, and other activities inside and outside the church to help men grow together in authentic fellowship.

Discipleship:

We host Dinner/Speaker events where men gather to be inspired through teach and testimony.  We also have Men's Community Groups that meet at various times and locations throughout the week.

Missions and Service:

We equip men to be servant leaders in the home, church, community, and world.  Likewise we encourage and provide opportunities to share the Gospel in word and deed through service experiences.

Upcoming Events:

As a church, we have preached through the books of 1 & 2 Peter. Men’s ministry would now like to study the life of Peter himself, a life marked by both great blunders and great boldness. We will see how the Lord Jesus shaped his identity, his heart, and his ministry, as drawn from relevant passages in the Gospels and the book of Acts. Come join us on Thursdays at 12:00 noon, from February 26 to April 9, in CLC 101 as we go through Derek Thomas’ book The Life of Peter: Molded in the Master’s Hands. The study will be co-led as usual by teachers from the men’s ministry team. No registration required, but please see Pastor Jonathan to learn more about this opportunity and to indicate interest.
