What is the Ministry to Family and Children?

It is a ministry of God’s love to the families in this church. The programs in this ministry reach any family with children from birth to 6th grade. We have a wide variety of opportunities for parents, children and families to grow in God.

Camp 456 - May 29th and 30th
Family Vacation Bible School - July 12th - July 16th

What specific programs do you offer for families?


*Sunday School for all ages

*Week-day Preschool for children 18 months to five years old

*Family night (Wednesday) activities (in addition to children’s choir and adult Bible study)

*Parenting classes

 *Bible Play Zone for 3 year olds

*Communicant class for 5th graders

*Small groups *Mother’s of Pre-Schoolers (MOPS)

*Vacation Bible School each summer

*Camp 456 for our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders

 

How can I get involved in the Ministry of Family and Children?


*Become a Sunday School teacher

*Join the preschool committee

*Volunteer to be a Sunday morning greeter to parents and children

*Join the MFC committee or Preschool committee

*Help with Vacation Bible School

*Teach a Family night class or group

*Pray for the families in our church
